Main Screen

  • unfamiliar senders about to be challenged link: Displays the number of emails that have just arrived from an unfamiliar email address.  The link will launch the Newly Arrived Emails pop-up box.  Messages will wait 10 minutes before being processed.

  • unfamiliar senders awaiting verification link: Displays the number of emails from unfamiliar email addresses what are waiting for the sender to respond to a verification email. They automatically expire after 72 hours.

  • unfamiliar bulk mail or listserver sender link: Displays the number of emails from automated mailer systems that have not been approved for delivery to your inbox.  They automatically expire after 72 hours.

  • status window: Displays various status messages about what AntiSpam is doing in the background.  This is an easy way to verify that AntiSpam has been connecting to your email server.  It also displays the level of encryption used to connect to the email server.

File Menu

  • Close Window: Closes the current window.  AntiSpam still runs in the background. To turn off AntiSpam entirely or to open up the main window again use the Notification Icon in your task bar.

Tools Menu

  • View Familiar Email Addresses: Launches a window that displays a list of all addresses recognized by AntiSpam.

  • View Email Processing History: will launch the Newly Arrived Emails pop-up box.

  • Manage Accounts: will launch the Account Manager

  • Manage Direct To Inbox Rules: Launches the Direct To Inbox rules manager for adding or deleting the rules used to bypass AntiSpam's challenge system.

  • Manage License: Launches the License and Registration Manager.

  • Check for Updates: AntiSpam will contact the Babastik servers to check for product updates.

  • Override Protection: AntiSpam normally challenges emails from unfamiliar email addresses.  The Override option allows you to tell AntiSpam not to challenge any of the emails.  If you set the mode to Send All Email to Inbox, it will stay that way until you change it back.

  • Re-Sync with Mail Server: Causes AntiSpam to verify every email on your ISPs email server has been read by AntiSpam.  (This feature is reserved as a trouble shooting tool)

  • Port Assignments: Allows changing the tcpip ports that AntiSpam listens to.

Help Menu

  • View Help Documents: Help documents are available either locally on your computer, or for the absolutely latest version, you can go On-line.
  • Submit a Bug Report or Comment: Opens the Report-A-Bug window for sending information about how AntiSpam has been running to Babastik in order to help trouble shoot problems.
  • About: Shows information about the product version and lists the accounts activated on the current license.
